The prerequisites for the use of the PGM seal are:

• The compliance with the defined tolerances, monitored by independent testing institutes (see Check of standard drill bits).
• The proof of the quality potential of the manufacturers by yearly audits or a certification according to ISO 9001 by selected accredited certification bodies and
• The compliance with social and environmental standards.
